Played two games for Newark. Born in Russia, Lonoff's family moved to the U.S. in 1903.

Update 12/20/18 
I found a couple newspaper articles that speak of a Newark-area basketball star named Abe. I am reasonably certain the player is Abe, and not "Al." He was married to Olga (d. 1965)

SSDI and his WW2 draft card says he was born Oct 12, 1897, but his WW1 registration card says October 26, 1898. I am going with the WW1 registration for now.
