I saw a page that stated he died in 1974, but every other place says 1973.

Born to Ernest (born c. 1883 in Canada) and Effie McCarty (born c. 1880). From Port Huron

His shooting percentages are horrible for the Falcons. .122 from the floor, and .100 from the line.

He coached at Lawrence Tech briefly after serving in the army, attaining the rank of Corporal.

UPDATED April 21, 2022
This is an instance where the original records seem to be way wrong. So many sources had him dying in 1973 or 1974, but apparently he died in 2000. I never could find any record of him passing in the 70's, so happy that new data came to light to correct this many years after this original post.
